Así mismo, durante el consejo de seguridad el mandatario local propuso al INPEC realizar una mesa de concertación con los internos para que conozcan las medidas adoptadas para su bienestar, respetando sus derechos y garantizando la preservación de su salud, solicitando además la aplicación de pruebas de acuerdo a los protocolos.
Igualmente, el alcalde elevó la solicitud al Ministerio de Justicia a que resuelva de manera definitiva lo que tiene que ver con el decreto de descongestión penitenciaria.
Por otra parte, en coordinación con el Instituto Nacional de Salud y las Secretarías de Salud municipal y departamental, se adelantan las acciones de vigilancia en materia de salud pública.
Igualmente se solicitó al INPEC una inspección sanitaria al centro penitenciario y jornada de desinfección.
