Balance positivo tras pruebas de acueducto en sectorización de Comuneros, Esperanza y Terminal

La Empresa de Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Villavicencio (EAAV) informa que las pruebas de sectorización para mejorar la prestación del servicio de acueducto y reducir las pérdidas de agua, se cumplieron de manera satisfactoria en los sectores programados: Comuneros, Terminal y Esperanza sexta y séptima etapa.

Sobre el medio día, se terminaron los trabajos en La Alborada y se inició llenado de tuberías para restablecer el servicio en el sector Comuneros. Hacia las 4:00 p.m. se terminaron las pruebas en Las Acacias para restablecer el servicio al sector Esperanza y, paralelamente, se inició el llenado de tubería para el sector Estero y Terminal.

«El contrato de sectorización hidráulica inició desde el año 2018 y consiste en la implementación de estaciones de macromedición, la instalación de líneas de refuerzo y un centro de monitoreo que nos va a permitir dividir la ciudad en 15 sectores hidráulicos para buscar todas las estrategias de reducción de pérdidas de agua potable que se presentan», explicó Óscar Parra Erazo, gerente general de la EAAV, y agregó que las pruebas estaban programadas para el año pasado, pero, debido a la ausencia del agua, fue imposible realizarlas, por lo que el proyecto aún no es funcional.

El área socioambiental de la empresa hizo un trabajo previo con las comunidades para informar de manera oportuna las actividades y también se contó con el apoyo de los medios de comunicación.
