Imder y Secretaría de Gobierno controlarán visitas a la vereda El Carmen

El Instituto Municipal de Deporte y Recreación (IMDER) y la Secretaría de Gobierno realizaron una mesa de trabajo conjunta en la noche de ayer (martes) para reforzar los controles y la pedagogía en los villavicenses que acuden a la vereda El Carmen para las prácticas deportivas.

Debido a la falta de conciencia de algunos ciudadanos que asisten a este popular sendero durante los fines de semana, la administración municipal ha tomado la decisión de blindar la seguridad y el cumplimiento de las medidas de bioseguridad, con el apoyo del Ejército y la Policía Nacional, para la actividad física al aire libre de 05:00 a 08:00 de la mañana.

“Debemos tener presente que ha habido un aumento de contagios en la capital del Meta, gota a gota, pero se han registrado más casos y hay que tener en cuenta que, al día de hoy, tenemos 3 personas en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos, 5 personas hospitalizadas, más un incremento exponencial en municipios como Puerto Gaitán y Granada. Lo que significa que Villavicencio, como ciudad capital, debe dar ejemplo en el cumplimiento de las medidas”, manifestó Andrea Lizcano, secretaria de Gobierno.

Así mismo, la funcionaria reiteró el llamado a los ciudadanos de salir únicamente los días en que les corresponda el pico y cédula. De igual modo, se llevarán a cabo controles para restringir el ingreso de las personas cuyas edades no estén en el rango estipulado por el decreto 248 de 2020. Tampoco se permitirá el ingreso de los ciudadanos que no porten el tapabocas y, a partir de las 8:00 de la mañana, se cerrará el acceso para fines deportivos en la vereda.

“El IMDER ha emprendido un camino interesante y es el de promocionar otros escenarios que la ciudad tiene para fortalecer las diferentes prácticas del deporte, con el fin de liberar presión a la vereda El Carmen”, aseguró Fernando Vargas, director del Instituto.

Precisamente, el pasado fin de semana, a través de las redes sociales de la entidad, se inició una estrategia de divulgación y difusión sobre las rutas o senderos alternativos para que los villavicenses realicen caminatas o ciclomontañismo, de manera que la vereda El Carmen reciba una menor cantidad de deportistas.

Para el próximo puente festivo, que va desde el sábado 20 de junio hasta el lunes 22 de junio, el IMDER estará presente con actividades recreodeportivas y de rumba aeróbica en el Corredor Ecológico de Amarilo, la vereda Buenos Aires y Cristo Rey, en los que se garantizará la seguridad para los visitantes.

Es indispensable acatar las medidas para seguir mitigando los factores de riesgo y contagio del COVID-19.
