Además, se asistirá integralmente, en las unidades de producción minera, a titulares, empresarios y trabajadores mineros de pequeña escala, de subsistencia y minería tradicional en temas de estructura organizacional, estándares técnicos y mejores prácticas amigables con el medio ambiente
En cuanto a seguridad minera se adelantarán actividades de capacitación en temas de normatividad, protocolos, riesgos mineros, prevención de accidentes y fatalidades, con charlas magistrales, seminarios, conferencias, cursos y jornadas.
Además, se promoverán iniciativas agrícolas, pecuarias y/o forestales, en concordancia con la responsabilidad social de las empresas mineras, mediante la implementación de proyectos productivos sustentables, con el fortalecimiento de iniciativas en zonas de influencia del sector minero energético, generando fuentes alternativas de empleo e ingresos que potencien sinergias para el desarrollo económico, ambiental y humano.
Se adelantarán acciones de interlocución entre los sectores y personas en conflicto con actividades minero energética, con el fin de prevenir, atender y concertar estrategias en aras de resolver conflictos.
Algunos datos importantes en Boyacá
Según el número de títulos mineros que existen a nivel nacional y la producción reportada, se puede deducir que Boyacá es uno de los departamentos con mayor actividad extractiva en Colombia, pues para finales del año 2019 se tenía un total de 1208 títulos, de los cuales 465 son de carbón, 198 de esmeraldas, 97 de arcillas, 72 de calizas, 279 de materiales de construcción (Arenas, Recebo, gravas ,Asfaltitas, Material de arrastre, Material de canteras), 36 de roca fosfórica, 12 de mármol, 9 de hierro y 40 de otros minerales (yeso, cobre, diatomitas, caolín), Así se desprende de la información de la Agencia Nacional de Minería.
De acuerdo con la clasificación realizada por esa entidad nacional, en Boyacá el 80,62% corresponde a pequeña minería, 19,07% a mediana minería y 0,32% a gran minería, sin encontrar en esta clasificación la minería de subsistencia.
