Comunidades indígenas del Meta recibirán kits alimentarios gracias a la Fuerza Aérea

Cerca de 6 toneladas de insumos alimentarios destinados a comunidades indígenas y población vulnerable en el Municipio de Mapiripan, Meta, fueron movilizados por su Fuerza Aérea Colombiana para ayudar a estas comunidades de protección especial que, a causa de la pandemia y la dificultad de acceso por vía terrestre al lugar, han aumentando su situación de vulnerabilidad.

Margarita Burgos, Enlace Municipal Etnodiferencial, recibió en total 330 Kits alimentarios dispuestos por la administración departamental del Meta, para que en los próximos días sean distribuidos a las familias de los resguardos indígenas de Mocuare, Charco Caimán, Caño Ovejas, en los Asentamientos Chaparral y en el casco urbano del municipio mapiripense.

El transporte rápido y oportuno de estos mercados que contienen los elementos necesarios de la canasta familiar para provisionar a un hogar con alimentos de primera necesidad para 5 personas, beneficiará a 206 familias indígenas y 124 hogares vulnerables los cuales no han recibido ninguna ayuda en el marco de la emergencia sanitaria, según lo manifestado por la señorita Burgos.

La misión de transporte de carga se desarrolló en una aeronave Black Hawk UH-60 desde el Comando Aéreo de Combate No. 2, en vista que las lluvias han deteriorado y obstruido los caminos, generando dificultades para que los entes territoriales se desplacen vía terrestre para atender y subsanar las necesidades de este grupo de personas.

De este modo, su Fuerza Aérea Colombiana, dispone aeronaves y tripulaciones para llegar a los lugares más apartados de nuestra geografía, garantizar el bienestar de nuestros compatriotas y contribuir al logro de los fines del estado de manera contundente e inmediata para mitigar el impacto negativo de la emergencia generada por el COVID-19.
