Este miércoles 22 se reanudan las actividades académicas virtuales en los colegios de Villavicencio

Luego de cumplir el receso escolar de dos semanas establecido por la Secretaría de Educación, las instituciones educativas públicas y privadas del municipio reanudarán hoy el trabajo académico en casa, correspondiente al segundo semestre del presente año lectivo.

El secretario de Educación, Álvaro Hernández Mora, recordó que el periodo académico comprende 21 semanas terminando el 18 de diciembre, más una semana de desarrollo institucional para los docentes y de descanso para los estudiantes, la cual se cumplirá del 5 al 11 de octubre.

Las vacaciones de fin de año para directivos docentes y docentes serán de cuatro semanas e irán del 21 de diciembre del 2020 al 17 de enero del 2021 y para los estudiantes de cinco semanas, entre el 21 de diciembre del 2020 y el 24 de enero del 2021.

El funcionario destacó que pese a las dificultades generadas por la pandemia del covid-19, la matrícula a junio del presente año se ha mantenido estable con 80.114 estudiantes matriculados en colegios oficiales y 28.565 registrados en instituciones educativas privadas de Villavicencio.

Entre tanto, la rectora del colegio Juan B. Caballero Medina, Martha Sofía Gálvez, dijo que con ayuda de los padres de familia y de manera armoniosa entre docentes y estudiantes se continuará con el estudio en casa, reafirmando así, la voluntad de no acceder a la alternancia este año, como medida de protección a la comunidad educativa.
