Personería de Yopal, actúa frente a riesgo de desalojo de pareja de la tercera edad
La Personería de Yopal actuando de conformidad con las funciones establecidas en el artículo 178 de la Ley 136 de 1994, como garante de los derechos humanos y protector del interés público de los ciudadanos de Yopal, le solicitó a la secretaría de Acción Social del municipio adelantar el seguimiento a una pareja de personas de la tercera edad quienes al parecer se encuentran en estado de abandono social y están próximos a ser desalojados del lugar de residencia por no contar con los recursos necesarios para pagar el canon de arrendamiento.
En estos casos como ministerio público se cuenta con la Ley 1850 de 2017, normatividad que es clara respecto a los adultos mayores en condiciones de abandono, y conforme a la información aportada a esta Personería, los adultos mayores, no cuentan con red de apoyo familiar, que les permita satisfacer de manera sistemática, adecuada y oportuna sus necesidades básicas, por lo que se le solicitó a dicha dependencia de la administración municipal, allegar a este despacho, la información de las acciones adelantas en el presente caso, en un término de cinco días, en aras de evitar que estas personas sean desalojadas y queden desprotegidas.
