Zuluaga:“Hicimos respetar las autonomía de las regiones y recuperamos recursos que permitirán reactivar la economía”

Cambios en el texto del proyecto de Ley de Regalías que llevan a que se beneficie a las regiones con la recuperación de recursos, y además que no pierdan autonomía, los acuerdos logrados gracias al liderazgo del gobernador del Meta, Juan Guillermo Zuluaga, como presidente de la Federación Nacional de Departamento (FDN).

Con estos ajustes en los departamentos se podrán impulsar iniciativas que permitan apuntarle a la reactivación de la economía, que según expreso el mandatario, debe ser una de las apuestas a destacar en esta nueva realidad en medio del distanciamiento individual responsable.

“El texto que se venía gestando desde el mes de febrero cambio en gran medida, porque era un documento regresivo, y fuera de eso quitaba autonomía y recursos, pero ya vemos uno que trae muchos logros. Si evaluamos del 100% de las peticiones que hicimos, podemos decir que entre un 70% y 75% fueron acogidas”, señaló Zuluaga.

La reforma, permite que para el periodo bianual los municipios y departamentos del país tengan más de $15,7 billones disponibles para inversión social directa, cifra que incluye asignaciones directas para las regiones productoras, las cuales se estiman en más de $3,8 billones.

“Con esta reforma, los municipios y departamentos contarán con una cifra histórica de regalías para inversión social, con mayor autonomía, en sus territorios: más de $15,7 billones de pesos, el monto más alto de los últimos años destinado a obras para el cierre de brechas y la reactivación sostenible en las regiones”, explicó Diego Mesa, ministro de Minas y Energía.
