Atención oportuna de emergencias en Chámeza

La semana pasada, se reportó desde este municipio ubicado al suroccidente del departamento, varios eventos asociados a fuertes precipitaciones, en el que se afectó parte de la malla vial terciaria de esta localidad. De inmediato, el gobernador Salomón Sanabria desplazó maquinaria con la cual se habilitó la vía hacia la vereda Mundo Viejo.

Según informó Guillermo Pérez, director de la Gestión del Riesgo en Casanare, desde el viernes de la semana pasada se removieron dos deslizamientos de grandes dimensiones que obstaculizaron el paso a decenas de familias campesinas por más de 24 horas.

 “Actualmente se trabaja en un terraceo y adecuación de los dos puntos afectados, en procura de evitar nuevos derrumbes de tierra y roca durante esta temporada de lluvias”, señaló el ingeniero Pérez.

Con esta misma maquinaria, se realizó una obra para proteger la Planta de Tratamiento de Aguas Residuales de los chamezanos, amenazada por una socavación de la quebrada Cocagua.

Para salvar de colapso la estructura, fue necesario canalizar la quebrada en un tramo de 300 metros. Se desvió el afluente y se evitó que siga impactando el sector donde se ubica la PTAR.
