Casanare acogerá la Vuelta del Porvenir y Tour Femenino 2020, y la Vuelta a Colombia 2021

Por segundo año consecutivo, el departamento de Casanare le abrirá las puertas a las jóvenes promesas del ciclismo colombiano y a las damas profesionales del país, para acoger la Vuelta del Porvenir y el Tour Femenino, eventos organizados simultáneamente por la Federación Colombiana de Ciclismo.

En 2019, la fiesta del ciclismo en el cierre de temporada tuvo un gran impacto en la región de la Orinoquía colombiana, donde los grandes prospectos del futuro y el lote femenino más importante del país, brindaron un gran espectáculo en municipios como Támara, Monterrey y la capital, Yopal.

“Hemos convenido la realización de la Vuelta del Porvenir y el Tour Femenino entre el 15 y el 18 de diciembre del presente año”, confirmó el presidente de Fedeciclismo, Dr. Jorge Mauricio Vargas Carreño, quien recibió en las instalaciones del ente rector del ciclismo colombiano al Gobernador, Dr. Salomón Sanabria, y a la presidenta de la comisión sexta del Senado de la República, Amanda Rocío González Rodríguez, representantes y promotores principales del regreso del calendario nacional a territorio casanareño.

“Nos han manifestado el interés de que el ciclismo colombiano regrese a tierras casanareñas, donde hemos tenido la mejor experiencia en la Vuelta a Colombia, en la Vuelta del Porvenir y el Tour Femenino”, expresó Vargas Carreño, quien a su vez, confirmó la llegada de la caravana de la Vuelta a Colombia masculina en la temporada 2021.

“De la misma forma hemos convenido que la edición 71 de la Vuelta a Colombia parta de tierra casanareña. Vamos a tener presentación de equipos y el prólogo. Esto es importante para la reactivación de los distintos municipios del país. Para Casanare va a revestir trascendental importancia, como quiera que la Vuelta a Colombia del próximo año será categoría UCI, y vamos a tener como mínimo cinco equipos extranjeros y transmisión en directo”, indicó el primer dirigente del ciclismo colombiano.

El recorrido de la presente edición de la Vuelta del Porvenir y el Tour Femenino 2020 se definirá en los próximos días. El año pasado Jefferson Ruiz y la chilena Aranza Villalón se coronaron campeones del evento que, nuevamente, contará con una gran acogida en el caluroso territorio de la Orinoquía colombiana.
