Ecopetrol contrató $305.000 millones con proveedores locales en Casanare a diciembre de 2020

Ecopetrol continúa comprometida con el desarrollo y progreso de Casanare, una muestra de ello es que a diciembre de 2020 generó la contratación de bienes y servicios por $305.000 millones con proveedores del departamento de manera directa y a través de sus empresas aliadas.

La Empresa contrató localmente $156 mil millones distribuidos principalmente así: Yopal: $69.000 millones, Aguazul: $39.000 millones, Tauramena: $36.000 millones, Monterrey $10.000 millones y Villanueva $2 mil millones.

De forma paralela, la compañía continuó fortaleciendo a sus proveedores de Casanare mediante la estrategia de ‘exportación local’. Esta les permitió a los empresarios locales ofrecer sus bienes y servicios en otras zonas donde tiene operación la compañía, por un total de $45.000 millones.

Por ejemplo, desde Yopal los contratos hacia otros destinos ascendieron a $30.000 millones y $14.000 millones desde Aguazul, entre los principales orígenes.

Proveedores también contratan local

Adicionalmente, Ecopetrol promueve que sus aliados también contraten bienes y servicios del mercado local. En este sentido, a noviembre de 2020, las empresas aliadas de Ecopetrol celebraron contratos comerciales por $83.000 millones con proveedores casanareños.

A través del modelo de ‘exportación local’, los contratistas de Ecopetrol hicieron negocios por $21.000 millones con los empresarios oriundos de esta zona. Se beneficiaron empresarios de Yopal, Aguazul y Villanueva.

El 87% de la contratación de mano de obra fue local 

A enero de 2021, se generaron a través de las empresas contratistas 2.269 oportunidades laborales de las cuales el 87% (1.975 plazas) fueron mano de obra local.

Del total de la mano de obra no calificada (1.018), el 99% es mano de obra de la localidad donde se desarrolla el proyecto, y del total de la mano de obra calificada (1.251), el 77% también fue local.

“Estamos muy agradecidos con esta empresa colombiana por tener en cuenta las empresas de este municipio y que podamos generar empleo y desarrollo para la prosperidad de todos”, afirmó Paola Maldonado Representante Legal de Espriobras S.A.S.

“En la empresa el impacto es muy positivo ya que, gracias a Ecopetrol logramos impulsar la economía del departamento mediante vocaciones y encadenamientos de nuestros campesinos y agricultores del Casanare”, expresó Jorge Eduardo Durán, Representante Legal de Durangar, empresa encargada de la operación de los casinos de Ecopetrol en Casanare.

Por su parte José Nilo Siabato, productor de carne del corregimiento El Morro, sostuvo, “me parece muy importante que esto se dé dentro del corregimiento, porque es un desarrollo para todos… poder uno vender los productos acá en el sitio, es algo magnífico”.

Ecopetrol cumple con la normativa expedida para la declaratoria de la emergencia sanitaria por la pandemia de la covid-19 con el fin de preservar la vida, la salud y el bienestar de los trabajadores y de las comunidades donde opera.

Además, promueve ante sus contratistas de manera permanente el deber de cumplir la ley, teniendo en cuenta que deben estar en capacidad de definir las mejores alternativas para sus trabajadores, según las condiciones de vinculación laboral y a la luz de las figuras que son permitidas en la legislación.
