Habitantes de calle de Yopal recibirán vacuna contra Covid – 19

Acogiéndose al Plan Nacional de Vacunación, la Alcaldía de Yopal empezará con el proceso de vacunación de los habitantes de calle que se sitúan en la ciudad. La entidad tendrá que garantizar la logística para cumplir con la aplicación de las dos dosis.

“Hay que recordar que los habitantes de calle están priorizados por el grado de vulnerabilidad que tienen: la mayor parte de ellos tienen enfermedades graves y crónicas, así como trastornos de salud mental por el consumo problemático de sustan cias psicoactivas”, informó la secretaria de gobierno, Karen López.

Con la vacunación, la Administración Municipal sigue trabajando en reducir la propagación de Covid – 19. El proceso constará de tres etapas:

1.      Identificación de habitantes de calle. Se resalta que en el censo se tiene la caracterización de poco más de 300 habitantes de calle.

2.      Verificación de condiciones de afiliación al sistema de salud.

3.      Jornada de vacunación que se hará tanto en un punto específico, como con el traslado del personal médico a los lugares de permanencia de habitantes de calle.

“Ya se están ajustando los últimos detalles logísticos para que en próximos días inicie la vacunación. Será un estricto proceso para asegurar que cada habitante de calle reciba las dos dosis. Gracias al trabajo articulado entre las secretarías de Salud, Acción Social y Gobierno, la jornada será un éxito”, mencionó Karen López.

Dato de interés

El trabajo con habitantes se fortalece desde la Secretaría de Acción Social, por estos días, se está concluyendo con la atención intramural y extramural a habitantes de calle.
