Condenados a 40 años de prisión exoficial de la Fuerza Pública y exalcalde de Recetor

La Fiscalía General de la Nación obtuvo condena de 40 años de prisión contra el coronel en retiro del Ejército Nacional, Juan Carlos Castañeda Villamizar; y el exalcalde de Recetor (Casanare), Flaminio Cocinero Costo, por su participación en los actos de tortura, homicidio y desaparición de 54 personas entre 2002 y 2003.

Un fiscal de la Dirección Especializada contra las Violaciones a los Derechos Humanos demostró que el oficial en retiro, quien se desempeñó como comandante del Batallón N°44 Ramón Nonato Pérez; y el exmandatario, participaron activamente en un plan criminal ejecutado por las entonces autodefensas de Héctor Germán Buitrago Parada, alias Martín Llanos, contra los pobladores de Chámeza y Recetor (Casanare).

Con abundante material de prueba y evidencia testimonial quedó acreditado que los dos sentenciados entregaron a la estructura ilegal listados con los nombres de supuestos auxiliadores de los grupos guerrilleros. Con estos señalamientos, algunas personas fueron citadas a las zonas de injerencia de la estructura paramilitar; y otras fueron buscadas en sus viviendas por hombres armados que las sometieron. En total, 54 habitantes fueron asesinados y sus cuerpos desaparecidos.

Adicionalmente, los dos exfuncionarios omitieron su deber de protección a la comunidad y, con pleno conocimiento de lo que ocurría, permitieron incursiones violentas de manera sistemática.

De igual manera, les impuso multa de 50.000 salarios mínimos legales mensuales vigentes y como indemnización por los perjuicios morales causados con las infracciones cometidas, una suma equivalente a 1.000 salarios mínimos legales mensuales vigentes.
