Se consolida la región llanera en una alianza estratégica

Junto a los gobernadores de Arauca, José Facundo Castillo, y de Vichada Álvaro León Flórez, el mandatario casanareño Salomón Sanabria, firmará el convenio interadministrativo, último paso dentro del proceso de consolidación de la Región Administrativa y de Planificación RAP Llanos.

En la casa fiscal Arauca en la ciudad de Bogotá se oficializará la firma de la RAP Llanos, una alianza estratégica entre los tres departamentos para lograr la materialización de proyectos de desarrollo común, con esta herramienta inicia la consolidación de agendas de trabajo y la oportunidad de ampliar mayores posibilidades de crecimiento, para posicionar esta región como un territorio próspero y competitivo en el plano nacional

Este paso se logra luego del Acuerdo de Voluntades entre los departamentos que se dio el pasado 10 de julio de 2019, posteriormente la aprobación de las Ordenanzas por parte de la Asamblea Departamental de cada departamento, seguido de la radicación, y se consolida con la realización de audiencia pública y aprobación por parte de la Comisión de Ordenamiento Territorial -COT del Senado de la República.

Este esquema de integración regional es una oportunidad para fortalecer varios renglones importantes de la región, lograr objetivos de desarrollo conjunto; generar proyectos de desarrollo en áreas específicas y desarrollar posibilidades de negocios a partir de la construcción de infraestructura en común, al igual que en temas de conservación de la biodiversidad, el turismo sostenible, la agricultura, la interconexión de vías.

La consolidación del convenio entre Arauca, Casanare y Vichada contó con el apoyo de la Federación Nacional de Departamentos, entidad que brindó acompañamiento en todas las etapas y procesos de presentación de requisitos y aprobación de este esquema de integración regional.
