El Instituto Nacional de Vías (INVÍAS) recibió un total de 11 ofertas económicas por parte de empresas expertas en ingeniería interesadas en ejecutar obras para mejorar e impulsar la movilidad segura de comunidades y transportadores en los Llanos Orientales, así como en el Pacífico y el sur colombiano.
La ministra de Transporte, Ángela María Orozco Gómez, afirmó que “el Gobierno del presidente Iván Duque hace presencia en las regiones con proyectos que mejoran la calidad de vida de los ciudadanos. A través del INVÍAS, destinamos más de $460.000 millones para ejecutar contratos de obra en vías estratégicas para las comunidades y los transportadores de Arauca, Cauca, Casanare y Chocó. Así, en el sector transporte trabajamos con hechos y en equipo para continuar generando equidad y paz con legalidad en los territorios”.
Por su parte, el director técnico y de Estructuración del INVÍAS, Guillermo Toro Acuña, detalló: “Hace más de un mes iniciamos este proceso licitatorio con la publicación de los pliegos definitivos y ahora estamos concluyendo con éxito la recepción de ofertas con la participación de 18 empresas de ingeniería. El siguiente paso en la entidad será analizar cada una de las propuestas recibidas y poder adjudicar los contratos de obra e interventoría en marzo. Para las interventorías de estos cuatro contratos tenemos un presupuesto oficial de $60.000 millones”.
Los recursos hacen parte de la nueva estrategia Vías para la Conexión de Territorios, el Crecimiento Sostenible y la Reactivación 2.0. Gracias a ellos, la entidad ejecutará la pavimentación, el sellamiento de fisuras y la señalización, entre otras obras de mejoramiento, en sitios críticos y priorizados de los corredores Yopal – Paz de Ariporo, La Cabuya – Saravena y Tame – Arauca, en Arauca y Casanare, departamentos con una fuerte actividad económica ganadera y de hidrocarburos.
