Con mujeres rurales, Gobernación de Casanare conmemoró Día Internacional de la Mujer

La Secretaría de Integración, Desarrollo Social y Mujer realizó una jornada experimental para 20 representantes del sector rural de los diferentes municipios.

La gestora social Cielo Barrera y equipo de la Secretaría de Integración, Desarrollo Social y Mujer, acompañaron esta conmemoración exaltando su labor, con un recorrido del proyecto UTOPIA de la Universidad de la Salle Casanare y entregando un reconocimiento especial por sembrar amor y dedicación, para mejorar las condiciones de seguridad alimentaria en sus hogares para un mañana sostenible.

El 49.5% de la población en Casanare es femenina; es decir 215.412 mujeres, según datos del DANE 2020; desde la ONU este 2022 se promueve el lema «Igualdad de género hoy por un mañana sostenible», reconociendo la contribución de mujeres y niñas en la mitigación y adaptación al cambio climático y un mejor futuro.

Esta actividad también estuvo acompañada de la secretaria de la Mujer Julieth Parra, directora de Inclusión y Desarrollo Social Johana López, diputadas Blanca Lilia Vargas y Zoraida Barreto.
