Una vez culminado el registro de censos realizados por los organismos de socorro y las oficinas de Gestión del Riesgo de las alcaldías municipales; la Gobernación de Casanare a través de Gestión del Riesgo de Desastres realizará la entrega de ayudas humanitarias a los hogares campesinos, que presentan pérdidas de cultivos, enseres y afectaciones en sus viviendas.
«Se están cumpliendo los protocolos establecidos por el Sistema Nacional de Gestión del Riesgo de Desastres, para la atención de damnificados por inundación. La primera respuesta la realiza los organismos de socorro, en lo que tiene que ver con evacuaciones, posibles rescates y el debido registro de damnificados», explicó Guillermo Pérez director de la Gestión del Riesgo en Casanare.
Teniendo en cuenta lo anterior, desde el banco de ayudas humanitarias con el cual cuenta el departamento, se realizó la asignación de los elementos de primera necesidad para atender unas 300 familias en Maní y 53 hogares en Tauramena.
Las veredas afectadas por desbordamiento del río Cusiana, Unete, Meta y Charte en el municipio de Maní, corresponden a Santa Marta, Limonal, Las Islas, Mararabe, San Joaquín, Guafal Pintado, La Llanerita, Guamal y La Poyata, siendo estas dos últimas, las de mayor afectación. Mientras tanto, en Tauramena las veredas que serán atendidas son Tunupe y Carupana.
