Gracias al oportuno trabajo que vienen realizando los organismos de socorro, las oficinas de Gestión del Riesgo de Desastres y el gobernador de Casanare Salomón Sanabria, se han atendido 627 familias afectadas por la reciente temporada invernal en Villanueva, Tauramena, Maní y Orocué.
Debido a los desbordamientos y altos niveles del río Meta, el municipio de Orocué afrontó una serie de afectaciones en predios, animales, viviendas y enseres de 226 familias residentes en barrios, veredas y resguardos indígenas. Ante tal situación, el alcalde Monchy Yobany Moreno decretó la calamidad pública, sumada a la alerta roja declarada por el IDEAM en el caudaloso río.
En respuesta a la calamidad, el mandatario de los casanareños Salomón Sanabria realizó el desplazamiento de ayuda humanitaria, la cual fue entregada de acuerdo a los protocolos establecidos por el Sistema Nacional de Gestión del Riesgo de Desastres, con sus respectivos censos de afectación, firmas y registros fotográficos.
Los hogares atendidos corresponden a las veredas El Remolino, La Esmeralda, Nueva Reforma, Caracaro, Isla Ribereña, San Juanito, Macucuana, Resguardo Saladillo, y los barrios Centro y Escalones, en donde se entregaron colchonetas, hamacas, toldillos, cobijas, sábanas y mercados.
Por su parte, Guillermo Pérez director de la Gestión del Riesgo en Casanare, informó que en lo corrido de la temporada invernal, desde el 01 de abril hasta 02 de junio se tiene un registro de 916 familias damnificadas, especialmente por desbordamientos de los ríos Upía, Túa, Cusiana, Meta, Pauto y Casanare. “Gracias al banco de ayudas humanitarias establecido por nuestro Gobernador, hemos podido socorrer más de 600 hogares vulnerables. Un soporte básico que los apoya a superar las pérdidas generadas por la lluvias”, aseguró el ingeniero Guillermo.
El trabajo humanitario continúa este viernes en comunidades campesinas de San Luis de Palenque, en donde últimamente se reportaron emergencias.
