Nuevas menciones especiales ha recibido la Gobernación de Casanare, gracias a los resultados positivos obtenidos a través del Programa Anticontrabando Departamental.
En este sentido, 10 monedas simbólicas de Oro, fueron otorgadas a Casanare por parte de la Federación Nacional de Departamentos, FND, gracias a la excelente labor adelantada en el cargue oportuno de acciones de control contra el contrabando, en el Observatorio de Registro y Control de Aprehensiones ORCA.
Estas actividades, se adelantan por parte del Programa Anticontrabando, adscrito a la Dirección de Rentas de la Secretaría de Hacienda.
Se debe recordar igualmente que a la fecha, la iniciativa en mención completa más de 700 acciones de control adelantadas durante el año, las cuales crecen día a día gracias a la labor del personal a cargo en los diferentes municipios.
