Ejército apoya a niños y pacientes con malformaciones craneofaciales

Con la participación de 26 médicos voluntarios y gracias a un trabajo articulado con la Clínica Simalink, Club Rotario de Yopal y la fundación sin ánimo de lucro Dibujando Alegría, se llevó a cabo la sexta jornada de valoración y cirugías gratuitas de labio fisurado y paladar hendido, que benefició a 60 niños y jóvenes del departamento de Casanare.

Por su parte, el Ejército Nacional a través del Batallón de Apoyo de Acción Integral y Desarrollo N.° 8 y la Décimo Sexta Brigada, apoyó la jornada con actividades de recreación y acompañamiento a niños y padres de familia, minutos antes de su cirugía. Es importante destacar que desde hace siete años, los soldados de la patria han apoyado estas jornadas de carácter humanitario.

De esta manera, el Ejército Nacional continuará trabajando para contribuir al mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de la población, apoyando actividades que generan oportunidades y devuelven sonrisas.
