Para atletismo casanareño busca protagonismo con tres deportistas

El programa del Para atletismo en los Juegos Paranacionales Eje Cafetero 2023, se llevará a cabo desde el martes 5 de diciembre al domingo 10, en la renovada pista del estadio de la Unidad Deportiva Ancízar López, de Armenia, departamento de Quindío.

 Esta disciplina será la que más medallas entregará en las justas, que se disputan en las ciudades de Armenia, Pereira, Manizales y Cali, con un total de 210 preseas de oro, 210 de plata y 210 de bronce.

El departamento de Casanare, estará representado por Francy Sirley Moscoso Guaneme, cuenta con 18 años y en las pruebas que competirá será 200 y 100 metros abierto. También en la delegación está Juan Fernando Domínguez Ibarguen, tiene 26 años, buscará las medallas en las modalidades de Lanzamiento de Jabalina, Lanzamiento de Disco y en Impulsión de bala Masculina Abierta.

Asimismo, María Yolanda Figueredo Urbano, quien tiene 18 años, estará también en 200 y 100 metros. Las competencias según la programación, tiene previsto iniciar a las 7:00 a.m. con lanzamiento de jabalina.

Cabe recordar que durante las justas de Bolívar 2019, Casanare ganó dos medallas de oro en esta disciplina, con Maryury Villamizar Camacho en Lanzamiento de Disco – Abierta – Femenina – F12-F13 – Nominal          y en Lanzamiento de Jabalina – Abierta – Femenina – F12-F13 – Nominal.

Asimismo, 4 medallas de plata, con Zulma Gineth Rojas Lemus en 100mts – Abierta – Femenina – T12-T13 – Nominal, repitió en 200mts y en 400mts, subió tres veces al podio. La otra plateada la consiguió en 5000mts – Abierta – Masculina – T15, Heiler Bernal Moreno.

Mientras para la cosecha llanera, hubo dos de bronce a través del propio Heiler Bernal Moreno, en 10000mts – Abierta – Masculina – T15 – y en la Media Maratón.

Clasificaciones funcionales del Para atletismo

Hay que destacar que en un trabajo especial que hizo el Ministerio del Deporte, explica cada modalidad, y para entender mejor las diferentes categorías y clasificaciones funcionales que se manejan en el Para atletismo, lo primero que hay que decir es que, al igual que en el atletismo convencional, se dividen en dos grandes grupos: pista, que se identifican con la letra T, y el campo, con la letra F (por los nombres de Track and Field, en inglés).

 En pista, se realizan las competencias de 100, 200, 400, 800, 1.500, 5.000, 10.000, los relevos 4×100, 4×400, y el relevo universal (dos hombres y dos mujeres, en su orden, – visual, físico amputado, parálisis cerebral y físico en silla de ruedas-), así como la prueba de maratón, en ruta.

Por su parte, en campo se llevan a cabo las modalidades de salto largo, lanzamiento de bala, lanzamiento de disco, lanzamiento de jabalina y club trow, que suple el lanzamiento de jabalina en algunas clasificaciones severas (F31, F32 y F51) y se hace con un implemento parecido a un bate.

Estas competencias de pista (T) y campo (F), a su vez, tienen clasificaciones funcionales, que se dividen en grupos de acuerdo a su discapacidad, con lo que se busca reducir la ventaja que pueda tener un atleta frente a otro. Así, por ejemplo, del 11 al 13 son las clasificaciones de los visuales, siendo el 11 que más discapacidad tiene, por eso requieren de guía. El 12 y el 13 son personas con baja visión.

Las personas con discapacidad auditiva entran en el grupo del número 15, ya sea en pista (T) o en campo (F). Y la discapacidad intelectual se identifica con el número 20. Por manual de clasificación, los atletas que hagan parte de este grupo deben tener un coeficiente intelectual de 75 puntos o inferior (ii1). Los ii2 son los atletas con síndrome de Down, y los ii3, atletas con autismo.

Después está el grupo de parálisis cerebral, que es diferente a la discapacidad cognitiva. La parálisis cerebral es una afectación en el cerebro de los niños, que se da entre el nacimiento y hasta los cinco años y desencadena con la afectación a nivel motor.

Los del grupo 31 al 34 son atletas que tienen parálisis cerebral, que no pueden estar de pie y por eso requieren de silla de ruedas (en este grupo se ubica, por ejemplo, Mauricio Valencia, el campeón paralímpico colombiano de lanzamiento de jabalina). Los del 35 al 38, son los que tienen esta discapacidad, pero sí pueden caminar, como el caso de José Gregorio Lemus, quien recientemente impuso el récord mundial de lanzamiento de jabalina en los Juegos Parapanamericanos de Santiago 2023.

Igualmente está el grupo de los atletas con discapacidad física, que van del número 40 al 47. Los de baja estatura se clasifican con 40 y 41, y después vienen las personas que tienen afectación en los miembros inferiores, pero que no compiten con prótesis, que van del 42 al 44. Por último, los clasificados del 45 al 47 son personas con afectaciones congénitas o amputaciones de tren superior.

Por su parte, los atletas en silla de ruedas se clasifican del 51 al 57, siendo los 51 los de mayor afectación motora, y el 57 el más funcional.

En el último grupo están los atletas que tienen amputación y compiten con prótesis, que van del 61 al 64, para los que tienen una o dos amputaciones, por encima o por debajo de la rodilla.
