En el punto donde se desarrollan las obras de recuperación y reparcheo de la calle 40 con carrera 30, con las que se iniciaron las intervenciones de la malla vial, hizo presencia el alcalde de Yopal, Marco Tulio Ruíz Riaño y la Secretaria de Infraestructura, Adriana Hernández con el fin de inspeccionar los trabajos y garantizar su oportuno desarrollo.
Las obras se adelantarán sobre toda la avenida 40, recuperando los puntos críticos hasta llegar a la carrera 5ta, con lo cual se pretende mejorar significativamente la movilidad y la seguridad de la ciudadanía, que diariamente transita por esta importante arteria vial de la ciudad.
El alcalde manifestó que ya se estudia el proceso administrativo que permita intervenir y cambiar en su totalidad toda la carpeta asfáltica de la 40, siendo esta uno de los corredores más transitados, no solo por automóviles y motocicletas, sino por vehículos de carga pesada, lo que intensifica su desgaste y aumento de los huecos.
Por su parte, la Secretaria de Infraestructura de Yopal puntualizó que “esta es una intervención que se requería con urgencia, el clima nos tenía un poco frenados, pero estamos con el acelerador a fondo para recuperar la calle 40 lo antes posible. No queremos más accidentes en esta ni en ninguna vía de Yopal. Estamos trabajando por mejorar la seguridad de la ciudadanía”.
