Durante el mes de marzo de 2024, Ecopetrol registró un total de 3.233 empleos generados a través de sus empresas contratistas, las cuales desarrollan proyectos y operaciones en distintos municipios de los departamentos de Casanare, Norte de Santander, Arauca y Boyacá.
Del total de vinculaciones, el 88,4% corresponde a oportunidades laborales para residentes locales; es decir, para las personas que viven en las áreas donde operan las empresas del Grupo.
Se destaca, igualmente, que el 78% de las vinculaciones de mano de obra calificada corresponde a personal local, con lo cual se supera el 30% requerido en el Decreto 1668 de 2016.
Los municipios de Aguazul con 1.346 vinculaciones, Yopal con 1.139, Tauramena con 631 y Toledo con 58, registraron los mayores niveles de contratación.
La categoría de vinculaciones laborales inclusivas, que corresponde a grupos de la población con mayor dificultad para conseguir empleo, registró la contratación de 781 personas: 697 mujeres, 48 personas que obtuvieron su primer empleo, 25 víctimas del conflicto armado, 9 personas en condición de discapacidad y 2 integrantes de grupos étnicos.
En cuanto a resultados nacionales, en el primer trimestre del año 2024, las empresas del Grupo Ecopetrol generaron 73.378 empleos a través de las firmas contratistas que apoyan la ejecución de sus proyectos y operaciones en distintas regiones de Colombia.
Para el caso de Ecopetrol S.A., durante el primer trimestre se logró la vinculación de 50.405 trabajadores, que son cerca de 245 trabajadores más en comparación con la cifra del primer trimestre de 2023.
Las filiales, por su parte, reportaron las siguientes cifras de contratación entre enero y marzo de este año: Cenit 10.792 personas, Hocol 4.214 personas, ISA 3.453 personas, Ocensa 1.920 personas, Esenttia 1.336 personas, Oleoducto de los Llanos 790 personas, Oleoducto Bicentenario 386 personas, Refinería de Cartagena 81 personas y Ecopetrol Costa Afuera (ECAS) una persona.
