El Ministerio de Comercio, Industria y Turismo trabajará en la reglamentación que se requiere para hacer realidad el proyecto de producción de urea y de fertilizantes en el departamento de Casanare, de manera que se puedan aprovechar las ventajas comparativas y competitivas de esta región.
Así quedó acordado al término de la jornada Mincomercio en Territorio que se cumplió en Yopal, Casanare, liderada por el ministro de Comercio, Industria y Turismo, Germán Umaña Mendoza, y que contó con la participación del gobernador del departamento, César Ortiz Zorro, alcaldes de varios municipios, congresistas de la región, otras autoridades y comunidad en general.
Durante esta jornada, se identificaron varios proyectos clave, en los que el Gobierno del Cambio busca trabajar conjuntamente con la región, para sacar adelante.
El ministro Umaña Mendoza destacó que el proyecto de producción de urea y fertilizantes será una de las iniciativas que se incorporará la Ventanilla Única de inversión informativa – VUI, una herramienta que brinda información a los inversionistas extranjeros sobre oportunidades que ofrece Colombia, el país de la belleza.
Durante este encuentro, el ministro Umaña destacó que junto a la Aeronáutica Civil se trabajará en un plan para habilitar como aeropuerto internacional de pasajeros, en el corto plazo, a la terminal El Alcaraván de Yopal, que tiene toda la potencialidad convertirse en un aeropuerto internacional. De igual manera, en un trabajo conjunto con entidades como la DIAN y el Congreso de la República, se buscará que también sea una terminal de carga, aprovechando su posición geográfica.
“Hoy nos comprometimos todos: estamos trabajando como país por el desarrollo nacional en uno de los departamentos más importantes de Colombia. Esta es una de las regiones que más nos ha aportado, por eso hoy tenemos que devolverle, para lograr un crecimiento nacional”, agregó el ministro Umaña.
El titular de la cartera de Comercio destacó además el encuentro binacional que se realizará con Venezuela próximamente, en este departamento fronterizo, y que tiene como objetivo trabajar en la recuperación de la vía fluvial y del transporte multimodal, las condiciones de inversiones conjuntas y de comercio conjunto.
Otro de los resultados de esta visita regional apunta a que el Ministerio de Comercio, Industria y Turismo trabajará junto al Ministerio de Cultura para avanzar en temas como la incorporación del departamento a la conmemoración de los 100 años de La Vorágine, de José Eustasio Rivera.
Así mismo, se buscas destacar el papel que tuvo esta región en la independencia de Colombia y las rutas que usó el Libertador Simón Bolívar en esa gesta que permitió la independencia del país. Este trabajo se realizará para exaltar el patrimonio cultural del departamento e impulsar el turismo, destacó el ministro Umaña Mendoza.
Finalmente, el ministro anunció que desde el Gobierno nacional se desarrollará un trabajo para impulsar el proyecto productivo de pesca en el sur de Casanare, con el apoyo de iNNpulsa Colombia.»
