El juvenil tenista de Casanare, Alejandro Castellanos sigue sumando éxitos a su carrera profesional, recientemente se tituló en dobles en la Copa Hilton 3, torneo J60 del Circuito Mundial Junior que tuvo como sede las canchas de cemento de la Federación Salvadoreña de Tenis en la ciudad de Santa Tecla.
El compañero del llanero fue su paisano Tomás Marín, quienes vencieron a los canadienses Jacob Rouleau Mailly y Tyler Wiazowski 6/7 – 7/5 – 10/5. Recordando que en semifinales derrotaron al ecuatoriano Ángel Veliz y el chileno Martín Rivera 6-7, 6-4 y 16-14.
Por su parte en sencillos, Castellanos accedió a la fase de los cuatro mejores, luego de vencer por 7-5 y 6-1 al estadounidense Omar Rhazaly; en busca de la final se enfrentó al canadiense Antoine Genereux, con quien perdió 0-6 y 1-6.
Cabe decir, que Alejandro adscrito a la Liga de Tenis de Casanare fue finalista la semana pasada del ya mencionado J60 Santa Tecla, donde cayó con el ecuatoriano Ángel Veliz.
En los próximos días, Alejandro Castellanos se unirá al equipo de Casanare, que estará disputando el Torneo Interligas en la ciudad de Pereira.
