Ecopetrol fortalece a más de 800 productores agropecuarios en Casanare

Más de 800 productores rurales del área de influencia de las operaciones de Ecopetrol en Casanare fortalecen sus capacidades técnicas por medio del programa Soluciones Integrales Agropecuarias, Agrosol.
Desde su inicio en 2021, el programa ha llegado a 54 veredas de los municipios de Yopal, Aguazul, Tauramena, Paz de Ariporo y Hato Corozal, con una inversión cercana a los $11.000 millones.
Agrosol entrega acompañamiento técnico en las fincas de los agricultores, a través de medicamentos veterinarios, insumos agronómicos, así como el desarrollo de diagnósticos rurales participativos que involucran activamente a la comunidad, en la identificación conjunta de soluciones a los desafíos agropecuarios, y la implementación de estas soluciones en los predios de las familias campesinas.
“Ha sido algo magnifico, se ha recibido capacitación en todo lo relacionado con el campo, en este caso como beneficiario de ganadería. Estoy recibiendo una novilla con embrión F1, algo de excelente calidad que va a mejorar mi ganadería”, comentó Mario Romero, finquero de la vereda Carrastol del municipio de Paz de Ariporo.
Además, se han implementado programas de capacitación a través de escuelas de campo, con el propósito de mejorar las habilidades de los beneficiarios en la gestión de sus sistemas productivos.
Durante la primera fase, se realizaron más de 5 mil visitas de acompañamiento técnico
personalizado, 1.160 horas de capacitación, se elaboraron 6 diagnósticos rurales
participativos y 791 análisis de suelos.
En una segunda fase, 747 productores, que cumplieron satisfactoriamente los requisitos del programa, accedieron a la implementación de soluciones agropecuarias para fortalecer sus proyectos.
Los sistemas productivos que han sido objeto de este proceso de acompañamiento incluyen ganadería bovina, piscicultura, porcicultura, apicultura, avicultura y una variedad de cultivos como café, plátano, maíz, caña, yuca, frutales, entre otros.
“Continuaremos trabajando para promover prácticas agrícolas sostenibles que mejoren no solo la calidad de vida y la seguridad alimentaria de las familias campesinas de Casanare, sino que también promuevan el desarrollo sostenible de la economía y la vocación agrícola de la región”, manifestó Yamile González, jefe de Gestión Territorial de Ecopetrol.

El programa Agrosol es una apuesta de Desarrollo Rural de Ecopetrol, mediante el cual se busca recuperar y fortalecer las actividades agropecuarias que realizan productores asentados en las áreas de influencia de la Empresa, reforzando individualmente habilidades específicas de sus sistemas de producción, identificando de manera participativa necesidades y oportunidades de mercado y transfiriendo soluciones agropecuarias que permitan hacer su modelo de agricultura más eficiente y productivo.
