Ecopetrol y la Alcaldía de Aguazul hicieron entrega oficial, a líderes comunitarios y comunidades rurales, de dos proyectos de inversión social para el fortalecimiento de la infraestructura vial, la movilidad y la dinamización de la economía regional que benefician a más de 3.300 habitantes, con una inversión cercana a los $12 mil millones.
La primera obra entregada fue la pavimentación de 2.9 kilómetros del anillo vial Unión Charte – Cupiagua en la vereda Plan Brisas, que incluyó la pavimentación en carpeta asfáltica, demarcación, señalización y elementos de drenaje.
Este proyecto, beneficia directamente a 870 habitantes de las veredas Unión Charte, Florida, Volcán Blanco, Plan Brisas, Retiro Milagro, Cumaná y La Vegana, mejorando significativamente la conectividad de las comunidades que hacen parte de la Asociación de Veredas de Cunamá (Asovec) con los centros urbanos de Yopal y Aguazul.
La obra se desarrolló tuvo una inversión cercana a los $8.300 millones y la vinculación de la mano de obra local.
«Tener el pavimento en nuestro territorio era una necesidad desde hace mucho tiempo. Es una lucha de todos nosotros como Asovec para que nuestras vías queden pavimentadas. Ahora se abren muchas oportunidades comerciales para nuestro territorio», destacó Johana Parada, integrante del Comité Ejecutivo de Asovec y líder de la Junta de Acción Comunal de Plan Brisas.
La segunda obra entregada fue la construcción de un box culvert sobre la quebrada La Calle, ubicada en la vereda La Cachiza. Esta estructura, que cuenta con una longitud de 32 metros y 13 módulos de concreto, representa una inversión de Ecopetrol superior a los $3.571 millones.
Beneficia directamente a más de 2.500 habitantes de las veredas Puente Cusiana, San Miguel de Farallones, Upamena, La Unión, Cachiza, Manoguía, Monterralo y Cupiagua, facilitando la movilidad segura hacia los municipios de Aguazul y Tauramena.
«Este es un proyecto muy importante para la comunidad porque de aquí sacan los productos para Aguazul y la movilización para el turismo. Hoy en día, vemos un puente espectacular, con una capacidad de 60 toneladas, que sirve para el sector campesino», comentó Wilmar Cuevas, presidente de Asojuntas Cupiagua.
Estos proyectos se suman a la inversión social realizada por Ecopetrol en materia de infraestructura vial en el municipio de Aguazul, entre la que se destacan: la pavimentación de 7.9 km de la vía terciaria Cusiana – Cupiagua en ejecución; pavimentación de 2 km de la vía Unión Charte – Cupiagua, tramo El Chímbalo – Plan Brisas; pavimentación de los anillos viales Cupiagua – Cusiana (2.9 kilómetros) y Cupiagua – Charte (1.73 kilómetros). Asimismo, la construcción de 8.44 km de placa huella en las veredas Salitre, Alto Lindo, Laureles y San Ignacia, a través del mecanismo de Obras por Impuestos.
Con la entrega de estas obras, Ecopetrol avanza significativamente en los esfuerzos por contribuir al desarrollo social y económico, mejorando el acceso a servicios esenciales, brindando bienestar a las comunidades y dinamizando, principalmente, los sectores agropecuario y de turismo en el departamento de Casanare. De esta manera, reafirma su compromiso de seguir aportando al mejoramiento de la infraestructura vial en la región.
