Camilo Vargas, actual arquero de la Selección Colombia, se graduó como Comunicador Social y Periodista, un logro que marca un nuevo capítulo en su vida, además de su exitosa carrera deportiva.

El Politécnico Grancolombiano de Bogotá, protagonizó un momento especial durante su ceremonia de graduación, al entregar un título profesional a una de las figuras del fútbol colombiano.

La institución expresó su orgullo por este hito, destacando la trayectoria del deportista: “A los 35 años y con una carrera deportiva llena de éxitos, Camilo Vargas, actual arquero de la Selección Colombia y una de las figuras más destacadas del fútbol nacional, consiguió un nuevo logro: recibió su título de Periodismo en el Politécnico Grancolombiano”, anunció la universidad a través de un comunicado oficial.

Debido a sus compromisos con Atlas en México, el futbolista no pudo asistir personalmente a la ceremonia. En su lugar, su padre, Oswaldo Vargas, fue quien recogió el diploma y posó junto al rector de la universidad.

A lo largo de su carrera deportiva, Vargas ha sabido combinar su tiempo entre el fútbol profesional y la formación académica. Aunque no pudo cursar sus estudios de manera presencial, lo hizo virtualmente, demostrando dedicación y compromiso tanto en el terreno de juego como en su desarrollo personal fuera de él. Este título representa un logro significativo en su vida, demostrando que se puede sobresalir en múltiples áreas con esfuerzo y disciplina.

Con 531 partidos profesionales en su haber, Camilo Vargas ha jugado para equipos como Atlético Nacional, Deportivo Cali, Argentinos Juniors y Atlas, además de ser una pieza clave en la Selección Colombia bajo la dirección técnica de Néstor Lorenzo.
