En un emotivo acto que incluyó brindis entre los presentes en el Salón Quiripa, de la Cámara de Comercio en Yopal, este martes 26 de noviembre, se realizó en el lanzamiento del Yopalfest, el Encuentro Cultural que moverá a toda la Orinoquía, del 12 al 15 de diciembre del año en curso.
Durante la intervención el mandatario municipal, Marco Tulio Ruiz, destacó que es importante que estas fiestas comiencen a tener más relevancia, “no la veamos como fiesta o festividades de pueblo, si no con eventos que se hacen en las grandes ciudades del país, y que estemos a la altura de Cali, Medellín, Barranquilla, Manizales, así como es Yopal”, explicó.
Añadió Ruiz que la gente que venga a la región, “se enamore de nuestra gastronomía, hay mucho que mostrarle al país, la idea es traer buenos artistas para reactivar la economía, esta es una inversión que ha sido criticada por algunas personas, porque le pagamos a un artista 900 millones de pesos, pero es lo que vale, además toda la plata no es del municipio, también nos apoya la gobernación, la empresa privada”, dijo el alcalde.
Manifestó que además de este evento, “el 7 de diciembre le vamos a entregar un regalo bien bonito a la ciudad, es la Plazoleta La Gavilana, frente a Unisangil, una inversión de mil doscientos millones de pesos, ahí caben por lo menos 40 mil personas, la tarima no alcanzamos a hacerla pero para el otro año está, la idea es que este sitio también se haga eventos artesanales y quede al servicio de todos”, afirmó Marco Tulio.
Por su parte, la directora de Cultura municipal, Yirlandi Pérez, le dijo a Colosal Noticias, este evento es una planeación durante esta administración, “y lo que queremos es fortalecer la producción de la región, asimismo la idea es dinamizar la economía y fortalecer cada sector”, afirmó.
