Con el inicio de la temporada de menos lluvias en Yopal y de la época de vacaciones, donde propios y visitantes disfrutan de actividades al aire libre, incluyendo visitas a ríos y espacios naturales, la Oficina Territorial de Gestión del Riesgo, OTGRDY, hace un llamado a la comunidad para que tome precauciones con el fin de reducir riesgos de eventualidades que suelen tener un incremento en esta temporada del año, y así pasar unas vacaciones sin contratiempos.
El jefe de la OTGRDY, Harbey Ramírez Ávila, señaló que es importante que las extremen sus medidas de cuidado al realizar paseos al río, expresando que “los padres deben realizar supervisión constante a sus hijos, así como tener cautela en ríos con corrientes fuertes y aguas profundas. De igual forma, si van a realizar paseos de olla, se debe verificar que, las brasas no queden encendidas, toda vez que esta temporada se vuelve más fácil la propagación del fuego generando incendios forestales”.
Otras recomendaciones:
- Evitar que cualquier menor de edad haga uso del fuego.
- No acumular basuras en áreas abiertas como zonas verdes, carreteras o caminos ya que la descomposición de las mismas, genera incendios.
- No arrojar objetos encendidos, vidrios, botellas, desperdicios o cualquier tipo de material combustible.
- No encienda fogatas. Si encuentra restos de fogatas, extinguirlos.
