Congreso de la República condecora al artista ‘Yaguazo’ por llevar al mundo la música llanera

Este miércoles 19 de junio, el Congreso de la República le otorga la Orden de la Democracia Simón Bolívar al cantante llanero Nolberto Encinosa de Dios, conocido como ‘Yaguazo’.

En pandemia, en una cama agonizante y por miedo a morir solo y lejos de su tierra, el compositor, Jhon Harbey Ubaque ‘Dartagnan’, reconocido productor musical, creó la canción Llano Viejo, grabada por Yaguazo; ya en año y medio se ha convertido en un himno para quienes han tenido que emigrar de su tierra.

El reconocimiento ha sido liderado por el representante a la Cámara por el Casanare, Hugo Archila y según él, “esta distinción se fundamenta en su dedicación incansable al cultivo y difusión de las raíces musicales de nuestra región, alcanzando reconocimiento internacional, gracias a su talento innato y esfuerzo constante. Su compromiso con la preservación de nuestra identidad cultural”.

De hecho, según la agregadora Prismad Music “Yaguazo es el artista revelación de la música llanera, además el más sonado en las plataformas digitales con más de 5 millones de streams que lo respaldan en el último semestre y con mas de 65.000 videos compartidos en la plataforma TikTok, ingresándolo en la lista de top viral Colombia y estableciéndolo como un pilar de la música llanera para las nuevas generaciones”.

La historia de Yaguazo es fascinante: Es un campesino nacido en Trinidad al norte de Casanare, de donde huyó víctima de la violencia al lado de sus 14 hermanos y sus padres, con un cuatro terciado a la espalda buscando salir adelante.

Duró por lo menos 20 años buscando el éxito de pueblo en pueblo, y sería su renacer luego de la pandemia, lo que hoy lo tiene en los primeros lugares de la música folclórica colombiana.
