La Selección Casanare de Ciclismo tuvo una destacada participación en el Campeonato Nacional de Pista, categoría Élite, realizado en la ciudad de Medellín, obteniendo un total de tres medallas de bronce.
Las medallistas que brillaron en este importante certamen deportivo son:

Paula Latriglia y Sofía Castillo, en la prueba Madison
Paula Latriglia, en la prueba de Eliminación
El gobernador de Casanare, César Ortiz Zorro, y el gerente del Instituto para el Deporte y la Recreación de Casanare (INDERCAS), Edwin Ramírez, extienden su más cálida felicitación a las deportistas, así como a los demás integrantes de la delegación, al cuerpo técnico liderado por el profesor Iván Malpica, y a la Liga de Ciclismo de Casanare, representada por su presidente Óscar Arciniegas. Gracias a su dedicación y esfuerzo, Casanare continúa posicionándose como un referente deportivo a nivel nacional.
Estas medallas representan no solo un gran logro deportivo, sino también el esfuerzo y compromiso de todo un equipo que trabaja para el desarrollo y crecimiento del ciclismo en el departamento y que siempre tendrá el apoyo del mandatario de los casanareños.
