Podría presentarse un nuevo pico de la pandemia

Uno de los principales objetivos que se ha trazado la Gobernación de Casanare a través de la Secretaría de Salud departamental para el año 2021, ha sido avanzar en el Plan Nacional de Vacunación contra la COVID -19 y así, poder garantizar a los ciudadanos la disminución de las afectaciones que causa esta enfermedad.

Tras la llegada de biológicos a Colombia, el pasado viernes 10 de septiembre arribó a Casanare un nuevo lote de vacunas contra el SARS-CoV-2; son 9.030 dosis que serán repartidos en los diferentes puntos de vacunación dispuestos en todo el departamento.

De acuerdo con el Ministerio de Salud, en el país podría presentarse un nuevo pico de la pandemia por lo que es crucial de que todos los habitantes estén protegidos contra el coronavirus.

En esta entrega se recibieron 3.510 vacunas de la farmacéutica Pfizer y 5.520 dosis de Astrazeneca, tanto para primeras como segundas dosis en la población mayor de 12 años con y sin comorbilidades, según lo ha estipulado el Ministerio de Salud y la Protección Social (MSPS).

Desde el Programa Ampliado de Inmunización – PAI, recomiendan a la población asistir a los puntos de vacunación y así acceder a la aplicación de la vacuna, con los elementos de bioseguridad como es el uso correcto del tapabocas y lavarse las manos periódicamente.
