Cuatro nuevos juicios de responsabilidades en contra de la expresidenta de facto Jeanine Áñez se promoverán desde el Gobierno boliviano, de acuerdo a las declaraciones del viceministro de Justicia, César Siles.
“Por responsabilidad, por procedimiento, nos corresponde impulsar, lograr esa autorización legislativa, para luego iniciar el juicio de responsabilidades”, ya que dichos trámites se encuentran en la Asamblea Legislativa, recalcó el alto funcionario.
Una de las propuestas acusatorias contra Jeanine Áñez se fundamenta en las muertes de la masacre de Senkata y Sacaba, donde los bolivianos piden aún justicia por las víctimas del golpe de Estado. El 27 de octubre de 2021 la ministra de la Presidencia, Maria Nela Prada, había informado que el Gobierno de Bolivia realizaría un plan integral de reparación a los familiares y afectados en 2019.
Las masacres de Sacaba, Senkata y Pedregal ocurridas en 2019, dejaron un saldo de 37 asesinados, más de 500 heridos y 1.800 detenidos.
Por otra parte, también se incluye dentro de las responsabilidades el préstamo del Fondo Monetario Internacional (FMI), la ampliación de la concesión del registro de comercio a Fundaempresa y un decreto calificado de amenaza contra la libertad de expresión.
Aunque Jeanine Áñez fue sancionada con 10 años de cárcel el 10 de junio, solo se le juzgó en primera instancia por el Caso Golpe de Estado II por los delitos de resoluciones contrarias a la Constitución boliviana, y su ascenso al poder en 2019.
El desarrollo de los juicios de responsabilidades debe ser aprobado previamente con dos tercios de los votos (110 de 166) en la Asamblea Legislativa. Por otra parte, las declaraciones de César Siles tienen lugar tras acogerse a la sugerencia del relator de la ONU, Diego García-Sayán, sobre un juicio de responsabilidades a Jeanine Áñez.
