Por proposición del concejal, José Luís Avendaño el debate de control político al gerente de la Empresa de Acueducto, Alcantarillado y Aseo de Yopal fue aplazado para el día 21 de octubre a las 9:00 a.m, argumentando la necesidad de postergar su realización, teniendo en cuenta que el día 15 de octubre es un sábado, lo que provocaría una baja participación, dicha proposición se aprobó con 9 votos positivos.
De igual manera, la concejal Laura Lizeth Barrera, pidió aplazamiento del debate de control político a la secretaria de gobierno programado para el día 20 de octubre, manifestando que, siendo también ponente del debate de control político al gerente de la Empresa de Acueducto, Alcantarillado y Aseo de Yopal, quedarían seguidos y se requiere tiempo para su preparación, por lo que solicitó para el 3 de noviembre el debate a la
secretaria de gobierno, teniendo en cuenta que ya existen otros debates programados durante el mes de octubre, esta proposición fue respaldada en la plenaria con 13 votos positivos.

Por su parte el concejal Fabio Suarez Caro, propuso que el día sábado 5 de noviembre del presente año, se realice una sesión descentralizada en el corregimiento de Punto Nuevo, para tratar temas que aquejan a esta comunidad, así mismo solicitó a la secretaria general del concejo invitar a los todos los secretarios de despacho, especialmente a los secretarios de infraestructura, salud, planeación, desarrollo económico y a los gerentes del Sayop, Indev e Idry entre otros; proposición que fue aprobada con 12 votos positivos.
De acuerdo con el reglamento interno del Concejo Municipal de Yopal establecido mediante el acuerdo N° 004 del 2020, las sesiones descentralizadas deben ser iniciadas en el recinto de la corporación y luego continuarse en el sitio programado, razón por la cual a las 7:00 am se dará inicio a la sesión en las instalaciones del Concejo y sobre las 10:00 am se continuará la sesión desde la cancha del centro poblado de Punto Nuevo.
