Este jueves 29 de febrero, se realizó la Asamblea anual de los integrantes de la Asociación Colombiana de Periodistas Deportivos (Acord), capítulo Casanare, que dirige el Periodista Juan Hernando Suárez.
El evento tuvo lugar, el auditorio del Estadio Santiago de las Atalayas, en Yopal, donde se dieron a conocer los informes por parte de la directiva, además algunos anuncios de interés para los agremiados de la región.
Acompañaron al presidente Suárez, el secretario Yovany Sánchez y el tesorero Rodrigo Correa, quienes también rindieron cuenta de lo ocurrido en el último año, luego se le dio la palabra a cada socio para sus propuestas.
Para Juan Hernando, es motivo de orgullo estar al frente de Acord Casanare, pues es una de las pocas asociaciones que tiene el país, donde los periodistas están organizados. Agregó que el objetivo es seguir trabajando por el progreso y desarrollo del deporte en toda sus fases; «vamos a agendar una reunión con el gobernador César Zorro, con el gerente del Indercas, Edwin Ramírez, así como el alcalde de Yopal, Marco Tulio Ruiz y el director del Idry, Edwin Sánchez, entre otras autoridades del departamento, y trabajar de la mano apoyando las diferentes disciplinas» , destacó Suárez.
Añadió que para este año 2024, tratará de organizar los Juegos para Periodistas del Oriente colombiano, también retomar algunas ideas como traer referentes nacionales del periodismo, donde se haga conversatorios para que los casanareños podamos seguir aprendiendo y creciendo como profesionales de los medios».
Aclaró que la gestión que lidera tiene las puertas abiertas para próximos socios, «algunos colegas se han ido de Acord pero por sus propios medios, pueden volver cuando lo consideren ya que este gremio es de todos, lógicamente deben cumplir con las normas y requisitos básicos», afirmó.
Juan Hernando Suárez, señaló que el próximo mes de abril del año en curso, se hará la Asamblea Nacional de Acord Colombia, donde se espera haya nuevas noticias para el gremio, y en enero de 2025, se tendría como sede de los Juegos Nacionales de Periodistas Deportivo, a la ciudad de Neiva, aunque no está definido.
Finalmente recordó que Acord es una asociación sin ánimos de lucro, sin embargo, hay mucho beneficios para sus agremiados, entre otros por ejemplo, convenios con la Unad, dónde quienes deseen pueden seguir preparándose en la parte académica, asimismo se está trabajando para reactivar las redes sociales del gremio y realizar un programa de radio.
