Capresoca EPS invita a sus afiliadas de entre 50 y 69 años a participar esta semana en las jornadas gratuitas de toma de mamografías «Tócate para que No Te Toque”, que se llevarán a cabo en el sur de Casanare, municipios de Sabanalarga y Monterrey, del 1 al 3 de abril, a partir de las 8:00 am hasta las 5:00 pm.
El 1 de abril la Unidad Móvil se ubicará en Sabanalarga, en el bioparque de este municipio- diagonal a la institución educativa Jorge Eliécer Gaitán-, para que las usuarias se acerquen y se realicen este examen; que requiere de entre 15 y 20 minutos.
A partir del 2 hasta el 3 de abril, la jornada se trasladará al municipio de Monterrey, específicamente al Centro de Integración Ciudadana, ubicado en la calle 20 N 4- 96, frente al Centro de Desarrollo Infantil- CDI- Galván del Llano.
Las usuarias de la EPS deben presentarse con su documento de identidad para acceder a la imagen diagnóstica de rayos X y evitar aplicarse previo al examen: desodorante o antitranspirante; polvos, lociones, cremas o perfumes debajo de los brazos, ni sobre o debajo de los senos.
La mamografía es una prueba de rayos X que ayuda a identificar transformaciones malignas en el pecho. Se utiliza como prueba diagnóstica para examinar a mujeres sintomáticas y también como prueba de tamizaje en mujeres asintomáticas.
El objetivo de la mamografía de tamizaje es la detección temprana del cáncer de mama, antes de que se perciban bultos en el pecho, asegurando la alta calidad de la mamografía y minimizando la exposición de las pacientes a la radiación.
La mamografía se toma a partir de los 50 años, cada 2 años, hasta los 69 años.
