Con contundencia de 6-3 y 6-2, el tenista casanareño, Alejandro Castellanos quedó campeón del J30 celebrado en Ibagué, al vencer a Juan Sebastián Caicedo.
Castellanos disputó tercera final en torneos del Circuito Mundial Junior, recordando que, ganó los títulos de J5 Llanos de Curundú (Panamá) y el J30 Valledupar (Colombia).
Cabe recordar que el llanero derrotó en semifinales por 6-4, 4-6 y 6-4 al brasileño Joao Pedro Prudencio, quien oficiaba como la tercera cabeza de serie; entre tanto, Caicedo dio cuenta del colombiano Samuel Castaño por 3-6, 6-4 y 6-4.
Los finalistas se midieron por segunda ocasión en certámenes de estas características, hasta acá la única vez que se enfrentaron fue en la final del cuadro clasificatorio del J100 Cali 2023, con triunfo para Juan Sebastián por 6-7(3), 6-3 y 10-3.
