La corona de rey infantil en el 57 Festival de la Leyenda Vallenata quedó en manos de Fernando José Salcedo Matute, oriundo de Nobsa, Boyacá, quien tiene 11 años y se ha presentado cuatro veces en el evento.
“Me sentí muy seguro, muy preparado. Yo ya venía haciendo todo ese camino”, expresó el acordeonero después de realizar su presentación ante el jurado calificador en el Centro Recreacional La Pedregosa, en Valledupar.
Salcedo Matute interpretó el paseo Luzmila, de Emiliano Zuleta; el merengue La Fiesta de Gala, de Almes Granados; el son Carmencita, de Juan Polo Valencia; y una puya de su autoría titulada ‘Tócale Fer’:
En segundo puesto quedó Jhon Emiliano Olmos Prieto, natural del municipio de Maní, y el tercer puesto fue para el vallenato Álvaro Jesús Santana. Cabe decir que el llanero, es la segunda vez que participa en el tradicional evento.
El casanareño, escribió en sus redes sociales. “Gracias a Dios por esta experiencia tan inigualable, estar entre los mejores acordeoneros me hace muy feliz. Mi proceso musical es lo mejor, el primer año salí en primera ronda, el segundo año llegué a semifinales y este año logré estar en la final llegando a ocupar el segundo lugar en una final muy reñida. Felicitaciones a mis compañeros y por supuesto al nuevo rey”, dijo.
El Festival de la Leyenda Vallenata continúa su marcha dentro del plan de conservar y promover el vallenato tradicional, ese que enseñaron los juglares.
